Privacy & Cookies

What we hold about you

• Your account: name, work email address, organisation, role, and (if you set them) your location, department and default pickup spot.
• What you post: listings, requests, events, photos, waitlist and attendance entries, and recommendations.
• Activity needed to run the service: your watchlist, and an audit log of admin actions in your organisation.
• Feedback you choose to send about Staff Market.
• Sign-in security details: passkeys and two-factor settings if you use them (we never see your password; it's stored hashed by our sign-in provider).

Who can see it

Your listings and profile name are visible only to people in your own organisation. Your organisation's admins can see member details and manage listings. Staff Market's platform administrators can access data to run and support the service. Sold and deleted listings are hidden from everyone except their owner and admins.

Cookies and browser storage

Staff Market only uses what it needs to work, and remembers choices you make. There is no advertising or cross-site tracking.

• Sign-in cookies (strictly necessary) — keep you logged in securely.
• Admin context cookie (strictly necessary, platform admins only) — remembers which organisation is being managed; cleared when the browser closes.
• Your preferences (stored in your browser) — light/dark theme, and your feed and recommendations filter settings.
• Performance measurement — anonymous page-speed measurements (Vercel Speed Insights), which don't use cookies.

Because these are essential or simply remember your own choices, you won't see a cookie consent banner.

Where it's stored

Data is stored with our hosting providers (Supabase for the database, files and sign-in; Vercel for the website).

Your choices

You can edit or delete your own listings at any time, and update your profile in Account settings. To have your account removed, ask your organisation's admin or send us feedback from inside Staff Market.
